Sometimes, it’s nice to just sit back and take in the view, or enjoy a stroll through one of Long Beach’s many nooks and crannies. We get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of who’s doing what or what’s happening right now, that it’s easy to forget about the striking scenery around us. Thanks to staging-live.lbpost.com reader Matthew Beaumont for sending us this reminder, taken on a recent afternoon near the harbor in Shoreline Village.
Beaumont sent this photo to us yesterday and permitted us to post it today (click here to contact Beaumont). It captures several notable Long Beach treasures, like the marina – packed to the brim with sailboats – and nearby shops and restaurants such as Parker’s Lighthouse, the throwback wooden walkways and the Lions Lighthouse for Sight on the right edge, as the sun sets over a recent day in the city.
Thanks again, Matthew, Feel free to submit your own photos to ryan@lbpost.com anytime!
