If you’re like a lot of sports fans, the biggest impediment to attending pro sports games in Southern California is the hassle.  The cost and care you have to put into the commute to the game and back, paying for parking and finding a spot, and making sure that while you have a good time, you’re not having such a good time that you can’t get home safely.  Fortunately for LB sports fans, the Sports Fan Fun Bus is here to save the day.

Competitively priced, the Fun Bus features keg beer and cocktails, which you can have at to your heart’s content since you don’t need to worry about driving.  The bus, which services Angels, Dodgers, Chargers, and USC football games, picks up at Legends on Second Street.  With the price of admission onto the bus you get unlimited booze, a ticket to the game, and of course a seat on the air-conditioned luxury coach bus.  “More often than not,” says Billy Loucks, the founder of SFFB, “The biggest advantage for our customer is safety—you’ll be able to get to the game and back without worrying about the beers you’ve had.  That’s the biggest selling point.”

Unlike a lot of other services that resell tickets, SFFB doesn’t price-gouge on their admission prices, either.  When you buy a Chargers package, you’ll pay a fee that covers the bus and the drinks, but you aren’t paying more than face value for the ticket—if you’re going to one of the rare premium games (basically Chargers/Raiders or USC/UCLA football), the price jumps up ten bucks.  Given that the Chargers would make you buy tickets to three games if you wanted a ticket to the Bolts/Raiders game, that would save you $146 bucks—plus you wouldn’t have to pay for parking ($20 at Qualcomm) or gas to get all the way down to San Diego.  In other words, depending on how much you would have spent on your own booze, you might end up actually saving money on a trip down.

“We’re not trying to rake anyone across the coals on ticket pricing,” says Loucks—”Some of the prices out there on Ebay or Stubhub can get kind of outrageous, but we’re pretty much even across the board for the whole season.”

If you’re a fan of sports like we are, you probably feel there’s not much better than going to a game with your friends—with Sports Fan Fun Bus, you can have the game experience without the hassle.  If you’ve already got tickets, you can just pay the bus fee to ride with your fellow fans and partake of the on-bus festivities.  For more info about SFFB, click here or to go directly to the ticket order page, click here.
