From LBSU reports

Volleyball Magazine has released their All-American awards for the 2008 women’s college volleyball season, and middle blocker Naomi Washington earned Honorable Mention honors.  Washington, who is, yes, just a junior, is from New Orleans, LA, and started every match for the 49ers in 2008, leading The Beach in both hitting percentage and blocking. Her .351 hitting ranked among the nation’s best, and was second best in the conference.

She was previously honored by the AVCA, earning an honorable mention selection by the coaches’ association after earning first-team All-region honors. She finished the season with 288 kills, 115 blocks and 7 service aces.
