If you’re reading this before eight in the morning on Sunday, wake up! Head over to Long Beach State and take part in the record-breaking turnout for the Pyramid 5K Run/Walk. This is a great event, with a nice scenic route around campus; Wayne Stickney-Smith put the thing together, with all the proceeds going to benefit the Long Beach State Track and XC teams. Uber-competitive president F. King Alexander will be taking place, so you can measure your pace.
