No nail-biters this week, as three lopsided Moore League contests took place in Long Beach on Friday night.

Wilson is beginning to stake their claim after remaining unbeaten in league with a 26-7 win over Compton, though the road ahead is tough for the Bruins. After last week’s loss to Poly, the Lakewood Lancers righted the ship with a 40-14 home win over Cabrillo. Jordan came off their bye week to make a statement with a 42-7 win over Millikan.

The winning teams outscored the losing teams by a total score of 108-28.

In the end, it ll leaves Long Beach Poly and Wilson High tied for first place with identical records. Lakewood, Cabrillo and Jordan have just one league blemish. Compton and Millikan are still searching for their first Moore League wins after lopsided losses tonight.

We’ll have articles, stats, photos and more in the next few hours. For now, check out the standings and muse on the current state of our favorite football teams.
