Now, we knew Millikan would be good, and you can never overestimate the value of experience in high school sports, but I don’t think anyone saw the Rams starting the year off with 28 scoreless innings.  They round out the first half of league play with Jordan and Lakewood, both of whom will be pretty hard to blank.  The Lancers are staying strong with a big win over Compton, and Jordan and Poly round out the top four, while the Wilson Bruins are off to a pretty surprising start as well, at 1-3.  Of course, there’s plenty of ball to play, so don’t get too attached to the way things look right now–do get attached to the idea of taking in some high school baseball in the next few weeks!
