It’s always sad to write an obituary, especially for someone like Dr. John Kashiwabara.  But thanks to some great planning, we’re genuinely happy to tell you about his memorial, which will be this Friday at the Pyramid, at 3pm.  Dr. John’s niece, Annette Isozaki, emailed to tell us Dr. John’s family “thought it would be fitting to have his memorial celebration at a place that he truly enjoyed.”  We couldn’t agree more, and we hope anyone who loves the sports community Dr. John helped build in this city will come to pay their respects.
