Heard from USA Volleyball yesterday that three more Long Beach State athletes are entering the USA program.  We’ve already told you about the proliferation of 49ers on the indoor teams, but now it looks like three current 49ers are looking to get sandy, too, as Caitlin Ledoux (sophomore next season), Ashley Lee (junior next season) and Jocelyn Neely (sophomore next season) have all joined the US Beach Training Team—they make up three of the eight players on the Under-21 Team.

“It is so exciting to see our beach volleyball pipeline come together,” said Ali Wood Lamberson, USAV’s Director of Beach Programs. “The athletes we have selected represent the U.S. beach volleyball stars of tomorrow.”

Ledoux and Neely aren’t strangers to the US program, as both competed at the 2008 FIVB Youth World Championship.
