It’s the most wonderful day of the year: Big West Conference Basketball Media Day, where all men’s and women’s basketball coaches will gather to discuss their teams, players, schedules and expectations for the coming season. It’s like March Madness in October.

Members of the media will be interviewing coaches all day, and then vote on the preseason favorites to win the conference as well as First Team awards for players. The Long Beach State men figure to be among the leaders in both categories. We’ll be live-Tweeting the results on our feed @LBPOSTSports. If you weren’t already excited for the upcoming season, now is the time.
