The Long Beach State women’s basketball team will open the second half of Big West Conference action on the road this week, making their way to UC Davis on Thursday and traveling west two days later for a game at Pacific.

Long Beach @ UC Davis (7-12, 3-5) Thursday, Feb. 5 @ 7pm
The Beach picked up its first Big West victory last Thursday, but was unable to carry the momentum home and fell to UC Irvine on Saturday.  UC Davis has come up short in its last three games on the road.  Sophomore Paige Mintun leads the Aggies with 13.6ppg and 6.4rpg, 45 assists, 32 steals and 17 blocked shots.

Long Beach @ Pacific (11-9, 5-3) Saturday, Feb. 7 @ 4pm
The Tigers are currently tied for third in the Big West with Cal Poly.  Unbeaten at home, Pacific is paced by the senior duo of Amber Simmons and Janae Young.  Simmons leads all Tigers with 17.8ppg while Young leads with 7.7rpg and is second with 11.2ppg.
