Long Beach State’s regular season will come to an end this week as the 49ers take on No. 13 UC Irvine in their final Big West match, and then host No. 18 Cal State Bakersfield in the final match of the regular season.

The 49ers (7-18, 0-4) will try and get their first Big West win on the road against No. 13 UC Irvine as the team plays their final night game at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 15. Long Beach State then closes out the regular season against No. 18 Cal State Bakersfield at Noon on Saturday, April 17 as the 49ers honor their lone senior, Branwyn Lee in her final home game.

Long Beach State will still have more action at the Campus Pool, however, as the team will play host to the Big West Championships, running from April 23 through 25 with all six teams in the league participating.
