From LBSU reports
Long Beach State will start their spring dual season on Friday, as the No. 48 49ers travel across town to face No. 10 USC in their season opener.
The 49ers are led by senior Hannah Grady, who enters the spring ranked No. 68 in singles. The three-time Big West Player of the Year will also have a chance to break the Long Beach State record for singles wins against USC, a mark that she currently is tied for with 73 wins in her career—we’ve heard she’s dealing with an injury, and it’s questionable whether or not she’ll compete.
The match will also be the first action for Anais Dallara. A 5-3 freshman from Gagnes, France, Dallara joined the team for the spring semester and did not play in the fall tournaments.
USC opened their season on Wednesday by defeating UC Irvine 6-1.
