T.J. Robinson wasn’t the only guy leading a total team effort to victory.  Josh Riley led four Long Beach State players with double digit kills as they 49ers knocked off Pacific 30-21, 30-28, 27-30, 30-28 in an MPSF Conference match on Saturday night.

Riley, who is emerging as a spark off the bench, led The Beach (4-4, 3-2) with 17 kills and a .433 hitting percentage, while Dan Alexander hit .429 with 12 kills.  Kyle Friend had 16 kills, a .393 hitting percentage and 10 digs.  Dean Bittner chipped in 13 kills.  Conor Eaton, playing in place of regular starter Mike Klipsch, dished out 58 assists, while Dustin Watten had 14 digs. 

The Beach hit .565 and .314 in the first two sets to jump out to the early 2-0 lead.  The 49ers struggled the rest of the way hitting .237 in both the third and fourth sets.  LBSU finished hitting .313.
