ESPN NEWS announced the schedule and opening matchups for Thanksgiving Weekend’s 76 Classic yesterday—Long Beach State will open on Thursday, November 26th, against West Virginia, at 11am. The game will be televised by ESPNU. If they win, they’ll get the winner of Texas A&M vs. Clemson—Minnesota, Butler, UCLA, and Portland are the other schools making up the eight-team field.
The tournament will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center—perhaps a good warmup for this year’s Big West Tourney.
