Saturday night’s loss to UC Riverside was a tough one to watch.  But if you were there to hear the heckling, it was definitely a Beach win.  Here are some of our favorites of the night:

Honorable Mention (Best Heckle Involving Kids): The Kick It Up Dance & Cheer team was in attendance and treated us to a fun show at the break.  Before the game, though, speculation came from the LBSU student section: “What are those, Riverside’s recruits?”

Best Sign: This was a no-brainer, since there was only one (C’mon guys!  Only one?!?).  Nonetheless, it was clever, and it was an acrostic, which is the best form of poetry.

Best Heckle O’ The Game: This has got to go to the trumpeter in the Pep Band who made an attempt to help out Riverside’s Javon Borum: “Hey!  Number 1!  You got something on your face!  You’re gonna want to wipe that off!”
