Two up, two down, as both Poly and Millikan fell in their home pools Tuesday afternoon, in the wild card round of the CIF playoffs.

The Rams played host to San Marcos, with the winner of the match advancing to face Los Alamitos in Wednesday’s first round.  The Rams fell behind early, posting a four-goal deficit in the second quarter, before roaring back to tie the game at 8.  San Marcos got the decision, though, with a late game-winning ninth goal.  Millikan finishes the season at 17-11.

Poly played host to Northwood on Tuesday, playing for the right to advance to the first round on Wednesday to face tourney top seed Corona Del Mar—the ‘Rabbits didn’t make it out, however, falling 7-5.

Wilson is now the only remaining Moore League team in the playoffs; the Bruins host a first-round game Wednesday, at 3:15pm against Irvine.
