The state championship brackets for CIF girls’ bball were just announced, and we’ve got good news for Poly fans: the Jackrabbits host a first-round game on Monday, and because they’re the second-seed (behind Cajon), they will, presuming they keep winning, host second and third round games on Tuesday and Thursday–if everything goes as it should, that would set up a rematch with Cajon in the state regional championship (for the right to go to the state title game) on March 14th in UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion.

All games will be at 7pm, and Monday’s opponent will be Santa Monica.  The other big note is that in the NorCal bracket, Berkeley High doesn’t make an appearance–Berkeley was Poly’s opponent in the last three high school state title games.
