On a cool, crisp morning at the CIF Prelims (held at Mt. SAC), the Poly Jackrabbits boys’ and girls’ teams ran great races, as both squads qualified for the CIF Finals, to be held next Saturday, November 21st. Wilson’s boys’ team missed qualifying by just three points.
The top four teams in each of the four heats qualified, as would any individual finisher in the top six of a heat but not on a qualifying team (Poly’s Dynasty Gammage advanced in that way last year).
Despite missing Ne’Ausha Logan and Elliott Gentile, Poly’s usual #4 and 5 runners, the Rabbits’ girls’ team came in fourth in their heat to advance; the boys’ also finished fourth.
