They were slightly favored to win the game, as an 8-seed facing a 9-seed, but the tall task of playing a second-round playoff game on the road was a little too tall for the Jordan Panthers, who fell 72-63 to Rancho Verde last night.  The loss ends an excellent season for the Panthers, who were co-Moore League champs with Poly–had the Panthers won, the quarterfinals would have been even less kind, as they would have been hosting the number one-seed, and still undefeated, Mater Dei Monarchs.
