The Division II no. 3-ranked Wilson Bruins took on no. 4-ranked San Clemente yesterday, for the second time this year—and once again, they won, this time 11-9.  The game was tied 5-5 at halftime, but a 4-1 third quarter from the Bruins put the win away and defended their ranking.

The Bruins will play their first Moore League match this Thursday, against rivals Long Beach Poly, at Belmont Plaza at 4pm.
