Lakewood got back on track with a sweep victory of Cabrillo, 25-15, 25-22, 25-19 but Lakewood coach Jeremy Moenoa added his name to the growing list of coaches who say they’re seeing a lot of improvement on the Jags squad.  “It’s nice to see a program better themselves,” he said after the match.

The Lancers improve to 2-1, tied for second with Wilson after the Bruins fell in four sets to Poly.  Lakewood will visit Millikan on Thursday, then play host to Wilson next Tuesday.  Cabrillo visits Wilson on Thursday, and will host Jordan next Tuesday.
