It’s always nice to get instant validation after an off-season of improved effort and practice—that’s what’s happening for the Millikan boys’ tennis team, who have started off 2-0, by sweeping both their opening matches 18-0.  First they topped Western, at the El Dorado courts, and then again they swept La Mirada.

Junior Brian Viene, the team’s top player since he was a freshman, has only given up one game so far this year.  He’s backed up by Dylan Carlson and Max Singletary in singles, and the combos of Jeff Jarzomb/ Mike Syracopolus, Andy Ta/Jeff Kwok, and Mack Ito/ Kevin Bedoya on the doubles points.

The Rams will host Mayfair at Millikan on Tuesday.
