Cabrillo managed to eke out a 1-0 a win over Poly on Monday, though their head coach Pat Noyes was not satisfied with his team’s energy level–still, a single goal five minutes into the second half proved enough to make the difference.  Cabrillo is now 4-2-2 in league and within striking distance of both Jordan (third place) and Wilson (second place)–Poly falls to 0-8-1 in league.

The goal came when Martin Enriquez, a sweeper that coach Noyes moved to forward, put one in the net off an assist from Wilfredo Mejia.
The first match between Wilson and Cabrillo may have been the most evenly-matched battle of the season, and their second round, at Cabrillo on Wednesday at 2pm, could be epic–be there!
