In a tight match against the defending CIF champs, the league-leading Bruins picked up their fifth loss of the season, falling 361-371 to Servite; the Friars are now 16-2 while Wilson sits at 14-5.

Wilson senior, Jake Hutton, made five birdies and an eagle during his four under par round of 68. Hutton shared the medalist honors with Servite senior, Patrick Cantlay who also shot 68. Cantlay’s round included six birdies.

Hutton’s eagle came at the 304 yard par four 13th hole. His tee shot ended up 8 feet from the hole, and he rolled in the putt for an eagle two.

Wilson sophomore, Andrew Morgan, had the second best score on the day as Morgan made five birdies on his way to carding at two under par round of 70.

The next match for Wilson is on Tuesday when they travel to play Avalon at Catalina Island G.C.
