The Rams were looking for their fourth straight win over the winless Cabrillo Jaguars–it wasn’t easy (they were down three at halftime), but another Herculean effort from Kierre Beverly helped them get it done 64-47, outscoring the Jags by 20 in the second half.

Beverly’s career-high 34 tops his 33-point performance against Poly on Monday, and in these last two wins he’s had a shade over 57% of his team’s total points.  Beverly was 7/9 from the charity stripe and knocked in three three-pointers to help boost the Rams to 6-4, just a game out of second place.  They’ll next host Compton on Friday; Cabrillo falls to 0-8, and will host a Poly team looking for revenge on Friday.
