Javon Pearson scored a career high 14 points and added 12 rebounds as the Jaguars defeated Verbum Dei 64-41 in the Redondo Beach Classic to improve their record to 9-2 at the conclusion of league play.

The Jags defeated Locke 63 -51 earlier in the tournament with Tony Bell scoring 22 points in the victory.
