The resurgence of the Cabrillo boys’ basketball program continues, this time thanks to a game-winner from Tony Bell with five seconds on the clock, which gave the Jaguars their second straight league win, this time over Millikan 56-54, in a hard-fought game.

Bell had eight rebounds, in addition to the crucial baseline runner.  Chris Verdugo scored three times in the fourth and finished with 14 points, and Javon Pearson led on the boards again with 11 rebounds.  Cabrillo also shot 10-13 from the free throw line.

Cabrillo is now 12-4 overall and 2-2 in league, while Millikan drops to 1-3 in league, tied with Jordan.
