The 2009-2010 season is winding down and there are only three home games remaining for the Long Beach State ice hockey team. The biggest game is this Thursday night at 9pm when the no. 7 ranked San Jose State Spartans visit Glacial Gardens. The season series is tied 1-1 after the 49ers battled to a 3-2 victory back in October on their home ice. Long Beach looks for their 8^th win in a row on Thursday.

The team is still taking collections to help their young fans at Miller Children’s Hospital. Bring your new or used DVD’s and video games (PG rated or better) to the admissions table and you’ll get 50% off your admission.

At Thursday’s game, you’ll also be able to purchase tickets to the Annual Alumni Game which will be at the Staples Center on Saturday April 3 at 3pm. Your $35 ticket will get you into the Alumni Game at 3pm plus the Kings vs. Ducks at 7:30pm. There’s plenty to do at LA Live after the Alumni Game too!
