After a win over Cabrillo earlier in the week (56-41), the Millikan Rams needed to win at Compton in order to keep the Moore League title within reach (they’ll need to beat Poly the next time they play to do so).  In a 67-8 whopper, the Rams got that win on Friday night, raising their league record to 3-1.  “We’ve been doing a better job of rebounding since that (Poly) game,” said Millikan head coach Lorene Morgan after the game.  “That’s something we’ve been working on.  Time will tell if that’s paying off or not.”

The Rams will get a chance to rest their legs, as they don’t play again until next Friday at Jordan.  Compton now falls to 0-4, and will next face the Poly Jackrabbits next Wednesday.
