Normally we save all our “who was ranked where” information for Wednesday’s By The Books column, but since baseball’s not currently in season (sadly), we figured we’d let you know that the Wilson Bruins are ranked 19th in a new set of rankings released by BaseballResource.com, a local authority.  Topping the rankings are El Toro (with their pair of 6’6″-plus pitchers), Simi Valley (who defeated the Bruins in the CIF Championship last season), and Capo Valley at number three.  Los Al makes an appearance at number ten, as well.  To read the rest of the rankings, click here

Did the Bruins deserve to place higher? As the CIF runner-up last season, we certainly think so, but when you have two departing seniors who are good enough to make the MLB draft, you’ve obviously got some rebuilding to do.
