Yesterday the NCAA Tennis Tournament brackets were announced on ESPN-U, and Long Beach State learned their fate: a first-round match against No. 25 LSU at Stanford.  The Tournament will be held from May 8-10.

No. 50 Long Beach State is making a sixth consecutive trip to the NCAA tournament after earning another Big West Championship with an undefeated season in league. The 49ers (18-7) will take on No. 25 Louisiana State in the first round. The Tigers enter the tournament with a record of 13-10 overall.

The Tigers are led by senior Megan Falcon, who is ranked No. 13 in singles and No. 15 in doubles with partner Mykala Hedberg.

In the other match at the site, host Stanford, ranked No. 13 in the country, will face Wichita State. The Cardinal enter with a record of 17-4, while the Shockers are 21-5.
