
The Varsity Bruins continued their dominance in the Moore League as they defeated the Millikan Rams 231 to 277 at Recreation Park Golf Course (Par 47 – 12 holes) on Thursday. The Bruins were four under par as a team for the match. Wilson finishes the regular season 19-4 overall, and a perfect 12-0 in Moore League play. The Bruins have now won six consecutive Moore League titles.
The class of 2009 finishes their career without having lost a Moore League match during their four years. The streak of consecutive league match victories for the Bruins officially stands at 48.
Wilson senior, Boris Stantchev, earned the medalist honors for Thursday’s match as he posted a bogey-free round of four under par 43 for 12 holes. Stantchev made four birdies during his round, which gave him a season total of 102 birdies.
Wilson senior, O’Neill Cowan, and sophomore, Scott Parkin, each made three birdies during their one under par rounds of 46.

Millikan sophomore, Chad Stolzberg, was the low finisher for the Rams posting a six over par round of 53. Millikan finishes fourth in the Moore League standings with a 7-5 record in league play.
