The brackets are up and they look pretty good for the four Long Beach boys’ volleyball teams headed into the CIF playoffs—three Moore League squads, as well as the St. Anthony Saints, will be making a postseason appearance.

Wilson- The nationally-ranked Bruins will begin a tough march through the CIF playoffs at home on Friday in the first round, against Channel League three-seed San Marcos.

Poly- The Jackrabbits finished second in the Moore League, so they will host a Friday, 7pm match against Esperanza, the three-seed from the Sunset League.

Lakewood- The Lancers have a pretty tall task to face as they visit Santa Barbara, one of the top teams in the country (no. 6 on ESPN).  They’ve been up and down some this season, and they’ll need to be pretty up for this Friday, 7pm match.

St. Anthony- For the first time in over a decade, the Saints qualified for the playoffs as a number two seed from the Santa Fe league.  Their first-round Division V match will be at Marshall at 7pm.
