Three of the league’s four playoff teams were in action on the last night of league play, finishing the regular season on a high note.

Poly 88, Compton 22

Poly finished undefeated in the Moore League again with a big win over the Tarbabes.  Sheila Boykin had her usual efficient night, scoring 14 points and pulling down 9 boards in limited action to lead the Rabbits, who will enter the playoffs next week ranked no. 1 in CIF.

Jordan 71, Cabrillo 36

Jordan officially finishes in second, having only lost to Poly, and the Panthers definitely earned their CIF top 10 ranking.  Armani Wiley impressed with 18 points in a big win over Cabrillo, who will have to apply to the postseason as a wild card.

Wilson 50, Lakewood 35

The fourth-place Bruins did it with defense, holding Lakewood to just 13 first-half points.  Tiffany Bailey led the way with a double-double, scoring 13 and pulling down 10 boards.
