UPDATE: We’ve added the names of the seven signess from girls’ track and field, as well as a pair of photos submitted by Mike McKinney.

We covered Wilson’s football signing day back in February, but the Bruins prefer to get the whole family together in April for a Spring signing day—that’s how thirty student-athletes, their teammates, family, and coaches ended up in the Wilson gym on Monday afternoon, celebrating the end of one experience, and the beginning of another.

Introducing the group, Wilson principal Lew Kerns said, “I’m so proud of these kids.  These are some great athletes who are leaving, and we want to say goodbye, and thank you.”

Among the more successful teams were girls’ track, which had seven athletes sign, girls’ soccer, who will have five players at the next level (six if you count Candace Nicholson, going to Arizona for volleyball), and girls’ volleyball, which sent four girls on to the collegiate ranks.  Below you’ll find most of the names (these are the ones I was given, and we are working to get the ones not yet collected), as well as a few pictures—any parents, coaches or players who have pictures, please send them to mike@lbpostsports.com and I’ll post them!
