With the Lancers’ baseball and softball teams both getting extra-inning CIF wins, somebody had to come down on the wrong side of chance, and it was the Lakewood boys’ tennis team, who battled Claremont to a 9-9 tie but fell on the games tiebreaker, 83-70.  The CIF semifinal match was the Lancers’ first loss of the season, as they wrap up at 22-1.  The Moore League champions were defeated by the defending CIF champions—congrats to the Lancers on a great season!
