At 1:30PM today, the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) responded to a vehicle colliding with a pedestrian near the intersection of 16th and Long Beach Blvd.

According to the LBPD, the pedestrian was pronounced dead upon arrival and it is unclear how the accident occurred. The investigation remains ongoing.
