12:40pm | Three people were shot inside a Farmers & Merchants Bank at 2300 Bellflower during an apparent robbery attempt around 10:30am today, according to authorities.

Two civilians and the robbery suspect, an adult male, all sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals. Police and FBI agents are on scene and attempting to determine where the shots came from.

Authorities say that police were en route to the scene with an attempted robbery call, when shots rang out inside the bank. At this time, it is unclear who fired first or where the shots came from, but two civilians and the robbery suspect were all hit. A security guard was present and apprehended the suspect, but only after the shooting took place.

Police are unsure who shot the suspect, or why the civilians were shot.
