According to the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD), Shenae Dixon, the mother of the two toddlers found alone on October 30 in the area of Atlantic Ave. and 60th St. in North Long Beach, has been located in good health. Dixon is being interviewed by LBPD detectives.

10:00AM  |  The Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) have identified the mother of two toddlers found alone at Atlantic and 60th St. after a relative of the two boys notified police.

ShenaeLBPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 23-year-old Shenae Irene Dixon [pictured left], identified as the mother of the two boys. Police are “concerned for her wellbeing and hope that someone may have seen her or knows her whereabouts.”

Dixon is a black female who stands at 5’5”, weighs about 150lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police Seeking Public’s Help in Identifying Toddlers Found Alone

October 30 | The Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) is seeking the public’s help in identifying two children who were found alone in North Long Beach this morning.

AbandonedLBPD officers were called to the area of Atlantic Ave. and 60th St. at about 8:45AM after a passer-by saw two small children, aged at about 1-year-old and two-years-old, alone. The children, both black boys, appear to be in good health. Police searched for any possible video but none was found.

A two-block area was also canvassed, but police failed to find anyone who recognize the children. All law enforcement agencies in Los Angeles County, as well as the five surrounding counties, have been notified, police said. Area hospitals have also been alerted.

The children have been turned over to the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services.
