The tragic shooting of 16-year old honor student Melody Ross seemed to shake the entire Long Beach community to its core, and the emotions continued to pour out as more details from that fatal night emerged.
But many in the community have taken action into their own hands, and this week we can add restauranteurs along Pine Avenue to that list.

A press release from Smooth’s Sports Grille indicates that restaurants on Pine Avenue (between 1st and 3rd Streets) will donate proceeds gained between 6:00pm-9:00pm on Wednesday night to the Melody Ross Memorial Trust Account.
