10:55am Saturday | After our coverage of the demonstration and counter-protest outside Wilson High School, members of the anti-gay and racially discriminatory Westboro Baptist Church sent photos and a message to the staging-live.lbpost.com.

Rocks thrown at the window of our vehicle, violent/loud/filthy-talking beasts masquerading as Long Beach citizens, and officers who just watch instead of keeping the peace – doesn’t constitute a “peaceful protest.”

Phelps-Roper also sent a photo of the group protesting outside the Long Beach Police Department. They are scheduled to protest there again at 3:00pm today.
