10:00am | Molina Healthcare has donated over $22,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of America, to assist in the purchase of Xbox Kinect consoles, an interactive sports and exercise video game.

“Childhood obesity is epidemic in our society and exercising is one way for youngsters to stay healthy,” said J. Mario Molina, M.D., chief executive officer of Molina Healthcare, Inc. “By working with The Boys & Girls Clubs, we can bring fun wellness strategies directly to the community.”

“We are grateful for Molina Healthcare’s support and partnership,” said David Sykes, regional vice president of The Boys & Girls Club of America. “Part of the Boys & Girls Club strategic plan is to promote healthy lifestyles and the interactive game makes it easier to coax youngsters into being active.”
