8:30am | The California League of Conservation Voters will celebrate several of California’s leading environmental champions at its annual awards gala, including Long Beach’s own Mayor Bob Foster.

The gala, which recognizes environmental leaders who are committed to creating a truly green and sustainable California for future generations, is being held tonight at the Abbey in West Hollywood at 6:00pm. Other honorees include Attorney General Kamala Harris, actress and activist Daphne Zuniga, and Better World Group President Wendy James.
