A man is expected to survive after being stabbed Friday night in an alley in Central Long Beach, police said.
Officers dispatched to the 1000 block of Lewis Avenue at 11:30 p.m. for a call about a stabbing found a man with multiple wounds to his upper body, police said.
The Long Beach Fire Department transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition, according to the LBPD.
The victim and witnesses at the crime scene were uncooperative, police said.
Investigators believe the victim and suspect are know each other, but police could not immediately provide details on their relationship.
