A man who was shot on a Long Beach street walked into a hospital to seek treatment for his wound, authorities said today.

The shooting occurred about 11 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of East Pacific Coast Highway, according to Long Beach police Lt. Danielle Quinones.

The victim later walked into a hospital where he was treated for a non-life-threatening wound, Quinones said.

Officers located the crime scene and notified detectives who continued the investigation, she said.

At the scene officers located evidence, including casings, indicating a shooting had occurred, but officers were unable to locate any victim or suspect on scene, according to the LBPD.
