Police say a semi-truck that tipped over in Long Beach Thursday morning temporarily shut down a major thoroughfare near the city’s airport.

The crash occurred just after 7 a.m. near Lakewood Boulevard and Conant Street, according to the Long Beach Police Department. When officers arrived at the scene, they found an overturned semi-truck trailer in the southbound lanes of Lakewood Boulevard, police said.

Police said the lanes reopened by 9:30 a.m.

No injuries have been reported, and there wasn’t any damage to other vehicles, LBPD spokesperson Richard Mejia said.

The investigation into what caused the crash is ongoing.
