As a result of an ongoing expansion and new aquisitions, U.S. HealthWorks will move its Long Beach center to a larger building.
Beginning Monday, the center, currently located at 150 S. Pico Ave., will be moved less than one mile away to 100 Oceangate, P245. The hours will remain the same, 7AM to 6PM Monday through Friday.
The new building will see several new benefits to clients, like a digital X-ray machine, a state-of-the-art physical therapy department, improved patient flow and onside staff coverage after hours care, said U.S. Healthworks spokesman Jeffrey Weidel.
He said the new clinic is about 25 percent larger than the current facility and will serve about 18 percent more patients. In 2013, the center served more than 18,000 patients.
“We will be serving our existing patients, potential new patient, our business and Long Beach port clients, and other industries in the region,” Weidel said.
