The staging-live.lbpost.com would like to wish you a safe and spooky Hallow’s Eve tonight, whether you’re combing the streets for treats or handing them out.  The Long Beach Police Department has a few safety recommendations that you can find on their website, and we’ve listed some of them below as well:

–    All children shoud be accompanied by an adult
–    Only visit homes that are well-lighted and never go into a stranger’s house
–    Stay on the sidewalk and cross only at corners
–    Apply reflective tape to your child’s costume or use glow sticks for better visibility
–    Use face paint rather than masks that may block your child’s vision
–    The city curfew law prevents anyone under the age of 17 from being out past 10:00pm
–    Report any suspicious or illegal activity to the LBPD Communications Center at (562) 435-6711

What are your plans for tonight?  Let us know if you’re heading to a haunted house and we’ll make a list of the activities open to the public.  While we’re at it, what are you dressing up as?  I’ve got a few ideas but haven’t narrowed it down quite yet.  I think an staging-live.lbpost.com costume contest sounds like fun.  Send in your ideas while I ponder that thought.

Happy Halloween!
