It wasn’t exactly a nail-biter, but after weeks of counting, the results of Long Beach’s November election were officially certified Monday night.

The presumed winners in local City Council and school board races had been known for some time now. The results that came in on election night and in the days that followed showed early on who would be elected.

Nevertheless, here’s the official results of the Nov. 3 election as certified by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder after election workers finished counting all ballots:

Long Beach City Council

  • District 2: Cindy Allen will replace Councilwoman Jeannine Pearce. She collected 11,448 votes or 53.6% of ballots cast.
  • District 6: Suely Saro unseated Councilman Dee Andrews after collecting 7,799 ballots or 59.8% of the vote.
  • District 8: Incumbent Al Austin won re-election by receiving 56.8% of votes or 10,839 ballots.

Long Beach Unified School District

  • District 2: Erik Miller collected 15,300 votes—about 51.6% of them—against Tonia Uranga in the closest local race.

Long Beach Community College District Board of Trustees

  • Area 4: In a three-way race, Herlinda Chico won the seat by winning the most votes with 20,363 or 41.2% of ballots cast.

Measures

  • Measure US: The only measure Long Beach voters had to decide on in this election cycle, Measure US—a tax on oil production to be used to fund public health resources—passed by 57.1%, or 107,040 votes.
