A driver was injured Saturday afternoon after a traffic collision with the Metro A Line in Central Long Beach, police say.

The crash occurred around 3:25 p.m. in the 1500 block of Long Beach Boulevard, according to the Long Beach Police Department. When officers arrived to the area, they found the injured driver, who police identified as a woman.

The woman was transported by Long Beach fire personnel to a local hospital, where she is being treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to the LBPD. No other injuries were reported.
